The Long Weekend

OK its late, I am tired, so only a quick summary tonight.
On Friday afternoon Harry and I took on Julian Hance and Terry Wills in a Captain/Pro Challenge. It was a great game and we ended up just sneaking it 3&2.
On Saturday I played in the Stableford and I did not play great, so only 28 points. So its is back up to 8 for me.
On Sunday I started the first of my 36 holes of matchplay with a tee time at 8:00 with Richard's Clegg and Kindon. against Harry and I in our next Captain/Pro Challenge. The two Richards :-) played very well together and came out as eventual winners 3&2. Well played guys.
Then I was out again in the afternoon where I partnered Rob Croxford in the Slinfold Plate against Peter Beck and Steve Hill. This was a tough match as I had to give 8 and 11 shots and they both played very well. We were 2 down after 6 on the front nine but kept fighting and pulling it back to even on 2 occasions before they would just get one ahead again. We eventually got in front for the first time in the match on the 18th which Rob won with a six and to see us through after a very tough game. I just worked out we would have scored a net 66 of 3/4 handicap so a tough game.
