Captain Pro number 6

Well I have had the week off but still seem to be up the club a lot. One of the main reasons for my week off was to look for a new car as my old hairdressers model has to go back in a weeks time. I ended being a little more sensible and went for a diesel Merc C250 sport. The people in the garage will miss me, going from about 18 to the gallon to 46 will mean I will not know the first names of all the cashiers any more.
On Wednesday I was back up the club for our next Captain Pro challenge. Again this was with Ryan and again he arrives in a buggy. Oh no what's up this time, it is his back. I think it is still a bit of suffering from his Iron-Man challenge, lets hope he is better next week for his championship. So again I thought I would need to carry him.
Our challengers on this occasion were Jeremy Woodley and Kurt Lyall who were off 21 and 25 so we were giving 19 and 16 shots, plus 5 for me. I thought we were in trouble when they both hit good tee shots on the first and we went on to loose the first to 5 net 4. But with Ryan birdies on 2, 4 and 5, then an outrageous chip in form the valley of death on 7 we managed to get to 3 up after 7. We then lost 8 and 9 to net birdies and back to 1 at the turn. So of course my idea of carrying Ryan on the front 9 had not been needed as his four birdies showed. Ryan then made another 2 birdies on 12 and 14 and we ended up closing the match out on the 16th 3&2. Again we managed to raise another £100 for the charity so thanks guys.
