The format today was best 1 score for first 6 holes, best 2 for next 6 and best 3 for last 6. As we started on the 10th that meant we had 3 holes of 2 scores and then 6 of 3 scores early on in the round. As it happens that worked out well for us because as a team we played better on our first 9 holes, I think jet lack kicked in for the second 9. Matt played well and had a run of three birdies and lipped out for his fourth in a row. My game was not at its best but when I put the ball on the edge of lake with just half the ball showing I was sure I could get it out. So I put the waterproofs on and went for the shot, I am sure I have seen the proffesionals do this!!! Of course once I tried to hit it I remembered I am not a proffesional as the ball ended up going about 4 foot, but a great Kodak Moment. (see picture and if you click it should enlarge) look close you will see the ball is in the air.We managed to accumulate 77 Points which put us in 5th place. In practice afterwards we played Draw-Back again and this time Slinfold won by 1 shot after 24 holes. Hope it snows more at home then I could be stranded out here.
