So the snow is here again, and this time its worse than before and looks like it will be here until after the weekend. I was up at my office in Lydbook in the Forest of Dean Tuesday and just made it back before the real snow came in. It seemed to be following me all the way home and I made it just in time, an hour after I made it back there was three inches on the ground. But its OK because on Sunday I escape (as long as they open Gatwick Airport again)
So I am going to play in the SPGU Pro-Am in Vilamoura Portugal, there will be about 100 of us flying out from Gatwick at 7:00 Sunday morning. Our team is Matt Summerfield, Allan Gormley, John Jordan and Myself, so it's a Slinfold and Ex-Slinfold Team. We have a warm up game, The Port Day, on the Monday at Pinhal then the main event starts on Tuesday. This is played over four rounds, two at Victoria on Tues/Wed and two at The Old Course Fri/Sat and is a medal with the best 2 of 4 scores to count 3/4 Handicap. I am sure we will have a great time and I hope the weather will be good to us. I will try to provide a daily update while over there for anyone that wants to follow our progress.

Good luck, play well and enjoy the warm, the temperature swing when you return could be a shock to the system!!!
